What tools do you use?
I can use all of Microsoft office tools (Word, Excel, Publisher, Powerpoint, etc.). I used QuickBooks and QuickBooks online. I am familiar with Basecamp, and Smartsheets. Outlook, G Mail, Google Calendar, Zoom, Free Conference Call, Face Time, etc. I have used both Macs and PCs. I-Phone is my preferred cell phone. I have a lot of experience with audio visual components and set up (projectors, etc.) for presentations as well.
Describe your greatest accomplishment.
Being recognized as one of the top CEO's in Utah. It validated the 3 values I have carried with me when leading organizations:
1. To provide the best service every day.
2. To hire, recognize, and support the team so the first objective is accomplished.
3. To communicate openly, clearly, and effectively at all times.

I enjoy working with youth. As a Scout Master having several boys earn their Eagle Scout awards, and having 12 overnight camps a year with our troop. Today, many of them as adults have stayed true to being good stewards of the community and of the outdoors.

One of my greatest successes is having children that are influences for good with all their friends and acquaintances. Also, that they like being around their dad.
Who are your main influences?
As a child I was raised to always help others. My mother would take me to visit and support family and neighbors in need of support and help with their daily life tasks. It helped me to understand that I want to be a part of making our community better. I have always sought opportunities that reflect positive outcomes/influences.

When promoted into leadership in 1998, I had a mentor that taught me about trust. She also taught me that as a leader to recognize the talents of others and not be intimidated by not knowing everything. That is what a team is for.

My high school baseball coach taught me to work hard and play hard. What he meant was when you practice hard, it will be reflected in how you will play on game day. Due to his example, I enjoyed playing baseball at the college level and was also recruited to the Minor Leagues. I learned about individual efforts do play into a team sport in order to win the game.
Why did you choose your profession?
My intention was to go into hospital administration, after some research, most of the healthcare industry would be focused on seniors (baby-boomers) during my "career years." I gave 20+ years to supporting the needs of seniors. I enjoy mentoring as well, which led me to consulting others to have their own successes. I am passionate about being part of positive outcomes.
